Enhance food security, nutrition, climate resilience, and reducing poverty in Lao PDR
AFN II Context
The Government of Lao PDR (GoL) and IFAD (International Fund for Agricultural Development) have agreed to allocate part of the Twelfth Replenishment of IFAD’s Resources 2022-2024 (IFAD 12) to funding the second phase of the Agriculture for Nutrition Project (AFN II). Building on the results of the first phase of the Agriculture for Nutrition project, and with support from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the World Food Programme (WFP), the Government of Lao PDR received new funding from the Global Agriculture and Food Security Programme (GAFSP) US$20 million to implement the project as outlined in the funding proposal. The GAFSP grant is complemented with an IFAD loan of US$13.2 million.

ໃນວັນທີ 21-22 ກໍລະກົດ 2026 ໂຄງການກະສິກຳເພື່ອໂພຊະນາການໄລຍະ 2 ເມືອງປາກແບງ - AFN II Pakbeng ໄດ້ຈັດກອງປະຊຸມ ແລະ ຝຶກອົບຮົມບົດຮຽນ-ເຕັກນິກດ້ານກະສິກຳຂັ້ນພື້ນຖານໃຫ້ແກ່ ຜູ້ອໍານວຍຄວາມສະດວກຂັ້ນບ້ານ ແລະ ວິຊາການບ້ານ ຈໍານວນ 5 ບ້ານເປົ້າໝາຍໂຄງການ ປີ 2026 ໄດ້ຈັດຂື້ນທີ່ຫ້ອງປະຊຸມ ຫ້ອງການກະສິກໍາ ແລະ ສິ່ງແວດລ້ອມເມືອງປາກແບງ ໂດຍເປັນປະທານຂອງ ທ່ານ ວົງວິຈິດ ສີສຸທໍາ ຮອງຫົວໜ້າຫ້ອງການກະສິກໍາ ແລະ ສິງແວດລ້ອມ ຜູ້ປະສານງານໂຄງການຂັ້ນເມືອງ, ມີປະສານງານຄູ່ຮ່ວມງານຈາກພາກສ່ວນ (WFP ) , ມີວິຊາການ & ທີມ GST ຈາກຫ້ອງການກະສິກໍາ, ພ້ອມດ້ວຍ ຜູ້ອໍານວຍຄວາມສະດວກຂັ້ນບ້ານ ແລະ ວິຊາການບ້ານ ເຂົ້າຮ່ວມມນໍາ ທັງໝົດ 29ຄົນ ຍິງ 11ຄົນ.
ຈຸດປະສົງການເຝິກອົບຮົມແມ່ນເພື່ອສ້າງຄວາມເຂັ້ມແຂງໃຫ້ກຸ່ມເປົ້າໝາຍ ມີບົດຮຽນເຕັກນິກດ້ານກະສິກຳກໍຄື:
1. ນໍາສະເໜີບົດຮຽນພາກທິດສະດີກ່ຽວເຕັກນິກກະສີກໍາດ້ານລ້ຽງ-ການປູກຂັ້ນພື້ນຖານ.
